To do

The print series "Slow Portraits, takes advantage of the strange beauty of technological mishaps. It presents screen captures of a moment when the Internet connection was too slow to transmit the image of my interlocutor properly while conversing on Skype. The resulting defects create a very dramatic and powerful aesthetic that reflects the distance between us despite the promise of technology to erase time and space between us.

7 of the prints were shown at MediaNoche, part of of the solo show "Screened Calls & Slow Portraits. 2 others were part of a group show "The Glitch Generation" at the Brooklyn Arts Council (BAC), NY.
